Hi! We’re The Backbeat, a collective of musicians based in Manchester! We’ve been playing together for a couple of years now, working with different artists across Manchester to produce recordings and play gigs. Our live shows have been growing over the last few years, and now feature drums, bass, guitar, percussion, keys different vocalists and a horns section!
Our music draws on influences such as RnB, Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, Groove, Jazz and Funk. Some of our top artists and inspirations are Oscar Jerome, D’Angelo, Parcels, Ezra Collective and The Free Nationals.
