We’re super excited to announce the 2022 Into the Trees Line-Up.

We’ve pulled together some absolute treats to keep the young ones entertained, with some fantastic new additions for 2022! We cater to all ages, so there’ll be an activity for everyone! All kids activities in Into the Trees are FREE, except for the Charity Penalty Shootout and Funfair rides.

Not only do Under 12’s get to enjoy the festival at a heavily discounted price, they have a huge list of things to keep them entertained and busy bees throughout the weekend.

Arts + Crafts

Expect a tonne of crafty activities including:

  • Slime making
  • Tramlines badge making
  • Tramlines tote bag colouring
  • Friendship bracelets
  • Mask making
  • Giant colouring
  • Temporary tattoo station
  • Cardboard creation station

The Arts and Crafts tent will be running activities from Friday to Sunday, 12 – 6pm!

Science Shows

Unleash the Scientist within! The super exciting, sublime Science shows will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday 2-3pm in the Arts and Crafts tent!

The Flying Seagull Project

The Flying Seagulls have been with us since 2018 providing a fun filled weekend of Circus Skills, Kids Comedy Club, Pirate Takeover, Cowboy Wild Cactus Hoe Down, Parachute Sessions, Rock Your Socks Off Drum Comp & Cacophony Music Sessions. 

The Flying Seagull Project will be running activities from Friday to Sunday, 12 – 6pm!

Spray Paint Workshop with Marcus Method

New for 2022! Learn to spray paint with Sheffield Artist Marcus Method! Kids will have the chance to create their own section of a Tramlines mural in Marcus’ bold and unique style.

This is an 8 years + activity!

The Spray Paint workshops will be running from Friday to Sunday, 12 – 6pm!

The ET Games Area

New for 2022! Et Games will be bringing all their favourite games to Tramlines 2022. It’s fun for all the family- learn to play Pucket, Klask, Bridget and more! Warning: These games are extremely competitive and addictive, Tramlines will not take responsibility for missed headliners…

The ET Games area will be open from Friday to Sunday, 12 – 6pm!

Charity Penalty Shootout

New for 2022! It’s coming home. The Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United team mascots Ozzie Owl and Captain Blade will be making a special appearance to host a Tramlines Charity Penalty Shootout, expect some healthy competition and brilliant prizes to be won over the weekend.

The Penalty Shootout will be open from Friday to Sunday, 12 – 6pm!

Kids Rave

The Kids Rave is back. Including live DJs, inflatables, fellow party people – It’s gonna go OFF.

The Kids Rave will be running from 5-6pm, Friday to Sunday in the Arts and Crafts tent!

Lidl Mudder

New for 2022! Lidl will be joining us at Hillsborough Park this Summer! They’ll be providing fun for all the family located over at Into the Trees, expect Lidl Mudder challenges, smoothie bikes and so much more!

 

Lidl Mudder will be running activities from Friday to Sunday, 12 – 6pm!

The Funfair

Everyone knows you can’t go wrong with a funfair ride, expect family faves Hook A Duck, a Helter Skelter, Ghost Trains and more!

 

The funfair will be open during the entire festival’s operating hours.
