This year, the Leadmill Studio Orchestra project is proud to feature the Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra (celebrating its 80th Anniversary year), conducted by the exceptionally talented George Morton, this unique collaboration celebrates the vibrant musical community of South Yorkshire.
As part of the project, Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra has worked alongside emerging talent from Sheffield, including incredible local musicians from Sheffield Music School and their ‘Tracks’ project. George Morton has arranged orchestra accompaniments for their original tracks, showcasing the power of collaboration between classical and contemporary musicians.
