🎤APPLY TO PLAY PANEL ANNOUNCEMENT 🎤

We are over the moon to share the Tramlines 2024 Apply to play judging panel!

As you know, Tramlines is all about supporting our local talent, with over 56 emerging artists playing Tramlines through this scheme since 2018. We are beyond proud to be adding to this in just under 7 months, and with our recent win at the UK festival awards for ‘Best Festival for Emerging Talent’, Tramlines is no better place to be!

Last year’s winner Harri has said that the Tramlines success has ‘given us a massive career boost in and outside of Sheffield, headlining a stage at Tramlines is a great talking point when applying for gigs.’

The overall winner will be picked by Radio X host, John Kennedy and we have a stellar panel alongside him to help pick our finalists.

“The privilege of getting to choose the winner of Apply To Play is not just discovering loads of brilliant new talents and being able to give them a leg up the ladder but seeing the positive impact the scheme can have on artists’ mental health.’ John Kennedy
