Tramlines 2020 will no longer be taking place

Firstly, we want to share a heartfelt thank you from the whole team for your patience and messages of support while we work through this difficult situation, it really does mean the world to us.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to offer our thanks for the continued dedication and hard work of all the NHS teams, key workers and volunteers in trying to combat this horrible pandemic.

We would like to assure you that we have delved into all possible options to try and make this year’s Tramlines possible. However, unfortunately, after a full review with the relevant local authorities; and in the best interests and safety of our festival-goers, artists, staff, suppliers and the emergency services; we are truly sorry and heartbroken to confirm that Tramlines Festival will not be able to take place this year.

Looking forward, Tramlines will now take place on the 23rd – 25th July 2021.

After taking into account your feedback, we’re pleased to confirm that tickets and upgrades for this year’s festival will automatically be rolled over to 2021. We’d love to see you at next year’s festival, so if you want to attend, no further action is required.

If, for any reason at all, you’re not able to join us for the new dates, you’ll be able to claim a refund on your entry tickets and upgrades. We’re working closely with our ticketing partners and they will be in touch with instructions on the next steps within 7 days.
We would like to thank you once again for continuing to support Tramlines and want to assure you we’re now putting everything into planning the best festival ever. Tramlines would be absolutely nothing without you and we can’t wait to see you in July 2021.

For now, keep safe, keep healthy and look after each other.

Much Love

FAQ's

Is Tramlines taking place in 2020?

Unfortunately, Tramlines 2020 has been moved to 23-25 July 2021 in Hillsborough Park.

Are my Tramlines 2020 tickets valid for next year?

If you wish to rollover your current tickets and upgrades (including VIP) you will not be required to do anything further, as all tickets purchased for 2020 will be honoured for 2021 at the same price.

If you have purchased a payment plan ticket and you wish to rollover to next year, you will be automatically entered into a payment holiday period where you won’t be required to make any further payments until March 2021.

We're happy to confirm that we will honour your child tickets at their 2020 price even if they will be older than their current ticket type. We will make note that you rolled over your ticket from 2020 so that our staff are aware of this on the gates.

Unfortunately, I can’t attend Tramlines 2021. Am I entitled to a refund?

In the unfortunate event you can no longer make the rescheduled dates for Tramlines in 2021, we can confirm that you are able to request a refund for the face value of your entry tickets, upgrades and official accommodation. Please note that we are not able to refund booking fees or Ticket Protection as this service has already been fulfilled.

The refund period is now over, but you should have received an email from Gigantic with full instructions on how to claim your refund on Thursday 14th of May. This will have been sent to the lead booker’s email address, as only they can process this refund request.

If you wish to get part of your order refunded please make sure that you have specified this during the refund process.

The refund period has now closed and you will have had 14 days to request your refund. All refunds requests must have been made by 10pm on Thursday 28th of May.

Due to the unprecedented scale of the impact on the events industry from COVID 19 and the cumulative effect of all events processing refunds simultaneously, the time frame to process your refund will be up to 30 days from your request. All parties involved are working incredibly hard to expedite the process to ensure everyone who requests a refund receives it as quickly as possible. We ask that you are patient as our ticket outlets work hard to process an unprecedented number of enquiries.

Please note we can only refund tickets purchased through Gigantic. Any ancillary costs such as travel and Non-Tramlines specific accommodation will not be reimbursed by Tramlines. We recommend you contact the companies you have purchased this from instead.

I haven’t purchased a ticket for Tramlines 2020 but I would like to attend the festival next year. When are Tramlines 2021 tickets on sale?

Following the refund period, we will review allocations and announce an on-sale date and time via our social media channels.

To be the first to know of announcements such as ticket on sales please sign up to our mailing list below.

Will Tramlines Line up for 2021 be the same as this year?

Unfortunately given the current circumstances, we cannot guarantee the exact same line up as in 2020 at this time. Rest assured next years line up will be our strongest to date. We're already making plans to ensure that Tramlines 2021 is the best year yet.

I haven’t received an email from my ticket outlet?

Please note this will be sent to the lead booker’s email address, as only they can process this refund request..

The email should have been sent to you on Thursday 14th of May. Please check your spam or junk folders as occasionally these emails get flagged as such.

Please note the refund period has now closed and ended at 10pm on Thursday 28th May.

I have requested a refund but have not heard back from the ticket outlet yet?

Partially refunding an event is a time-consuming manual process. We have spoken at length with our ticketing agencies who are operating on a finite amount of staff resource with a huge and unprecedented workload. They have requested that we ask you not to call and chase refund requests once submitted as every email and call within the 30 days will further slow their team’s ability to process the workload they have.

Please find a statement requesting “patience & kindness” from the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers below.

“The Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers asks ticket buyers to be patient and kind, not to flood contact centres with calls and emails and to wait for ticket sellers to contact them regarding exchanges and refunds.”
