The Snuts : Office Radio Takeover
On the Countdown to Tramlines we wanted to catch up with some of the artists who will be joining us this summer, what better way to to celebrate this summer than to chat about music and listen to some music! Each artist will takeover our Office Radio and curate a banging playlist of their current ear worms and all time favourites.
This week, Joe from The Snuts has taken over our Office Radio Playlist and he’s included some bloody great songs. The band have been smashing it recently and became the first Scottish band in 14 years to achieve a number one with their debut album W.L. The band will also be touring with indie faves’ The Kooks from January 2022 AND joining us this summer on T’Other Stage.
Joe’s playlist includes Portishead, Jay Z, Lana Del Ray, Tame Impala, Velvet Underground and so much more. Have a read below to hear what Joe had to say:
So, what are you listening to at the moment?
Arlo Parks, non. Stop. Can’t get enough of her new album, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the new album for ages and it’s glorious. So chill and she has a really lovely voice.
Why have you chosen the songs on the playlist? It’s all pretty mellow, but the sun’s shining for a change and my girlfriend has the afternoon off so it suits the vibe I’m going for.
Tell us the one album you think everyone should listen to, and why?
100% Bon Iver 22, A Million.
Bon Iver are always untouchable but this is the album I can’t keep off recently. Amazing creative sounds that never feel out of place. Proper masterpiece.
