Tramlines has five different areas dotted around Hillsborough Park – there is always something to do (including live music, entertainment and comedy)!
The focal point of our huge site at Hillsborough Park featuring performances from massive international acts over the weekend, including Two Door Cinema Club, Courteeners, Chic and many more.
Where we showcase Tramlines more eclectic offering. From indie to grime and ‘90s girl bands you can find a whole host of genres on our second stage, with acts including Annie Mac, Doves, Jade Bird, Tom Grennan plus more!
The Leadmill is a true Sheffield institution with over 35 years of providing a platform for bands who have gone on to take over the world. Their stage at Tramlines will feature guitar bands, comedy and the best of the local scene. This year we’ve got The Futureheads headlining The Leadmill.
A brand new stage for 2018, set back from the hustle and the bustle of the main arena, close to the historic Hillsborough Library. This stage is all about discovery with a line-up that leans to the left and supports emerging talent including the likes of The Japanese House.
INTO THE TREES
This area has been specially created with kids in mind! Into the Trees is our re-invented, dedicated family area with some absolute treats to keep the young ones entertained. Our pop-up cinema, brought to you by Village Screen will be running across the weekend, if you’re in the mood to kick back with a movie.
Responsible Fishing takes centre stage on Saturday and Sunday’s activities by bringing their woodland workshop that runs throughout the weekend, allowing for a little peace and tranquility – whether it is rock balancing or foraging for materials to create woodland crafts.
And Jamboree Arts are hosting a circus school on both Saturday and Sunday. Walk the tight wire or try your hand at juggling & acrobatics in the big top!
However, come night time this area turns into an outdoor disco with live DJ sets so you can literally party the night away under the stars!
