Tom Wrigglesworth

Sheffield's own Tom Wrigglesworth is one of the UK's most original and respected stand-ups, known for his brilliantly crafted storytelling, warm delivery and razor-sharp wit. He shot to fame with his legendary true story about battling a Virgin train ticket inspector — a tale that won the Chortle Best Show Award and earned a nomination for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award.

Tom first burst onto the scene winning Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny? competition and has since become a star of radio and television, appearing on shows including Russell Howard's Good News and The Comedy Store. He's also written and starred

in five acclaimed series of his hit BBC Radio 4 show Tom Wrigglesworth's Hang-Ups.
