Starsailor

Starsailor—James Walsh, James Stelfox, Ben Byrne, and Barry Westhead—signed to EMI in 2001 and quickly gained success with sold-out tours, top 20 singles, and their debut album, which peaked at No.2. Phil Spector produced two tracks on their second album, completed by John Leckie and Danton Supple, also reaching No.2 and yielding hits like Silence Is Easy and Four To The Floor.

2005's On the Outside showcased a more direct rock sound, while 2009's album featured standout tracks such as Tell Me It's Not Over. After a five-year hiatus, Starsailor returned in 2014, followed by a co-headline tour with Embrace, a Greatest Hits album, and extensive UK and EU tours.

2017's album, produced with Rick McNamara, highlighted the band's matured melodic sensibilities. New music arrived in 2024, again produced by McNamara, and their first live album marked Starsailor's 25th anniversary in 2025.
