Blossoms

English quintet Blossoms, formed in Stockport by Tom Ogden (vocals, guitar) and Joe Donovan (drums) with Charlie Salt (bass, vocals), Josh Dewhurst (guitar), and Myles Kellock (keyboards, vocals), rose from local clubs to festival stages in the 2010s. Their 2016 self-titled debut topped U.K. charts with a catchy, synth-driven Brit-pop/indie rock sound, led by the single Charlemagne.
Their 2018 follow-up, Cool Like You, incorporated more new wave influences, while 2020's Foolish Loving Spaces focused on love and attachment, giving them a second U.K. chart-topper. During lockdown, the band released the digital stop-gap In Isolation and a live recording from Stockport. 2022's Ribbon Around the Bomb revisited early-'60s-inspired sounds, and in 2024, Gary, produced with contributions from Josh Lloyd-Watson and James Skelly, returned them to the top of the U.K. album charts. Blossoms are known for blending classic pop songwriting with moody organ textures and youthful energy, consistently selling out shows and festival appearances, including Glastonbury.
