Big Ang & Siobhan Gallagher

Together Big Ang and Siobhan from Sheffield combine musical and creative talents, producing and performing tracks in clubs. Known for dance, house, bassline music.

As the undisputed Queen of Bassline, for two decades the name Big Ang has been synonymous with speedy basslines, rapturous breakdowns and right-in-the-feelings vocal samples. Big Ang creates the type of music that will have you raising your arms to the ceiling, eyes-closed in the sheer bliss of being alive; while simultaneously holding onto your mates for dear life, manically grinning like you’ve just got to the front of the Nemesis queue, having just realised exactly what you’ve gotten yourself into… unable to mutter anything but “phwoar”.

Never one to dwell in the limelight, this Yorkshire-born DJ and producer rose to prominence in the hey-day of Niche – but despite an esteemed tenure at the now defunct Sheffield nightspot, a UK Top 40 hit and an incomparable catalogue of the finest speed garage, bassline and organ house cuts this end of the M1 – Ang’s monumental contribution to dance music is often overlooked.

Sheffield-born vocalist Siobhan Gallagher has spent over two decades building a reputation as one of the UK's most versatile and distinctive voices in dance and club music. Beginning her professional journey at just 18, Siobhan quickly immersed herself in the studio scene, collaborating with a wide range of singers, producers and songwriters from around the world. Through these collaborations she developed a diverse portfolio of recordings that span multiple genres, from uplifting house and club anthems to contemporary vocal projects.

Her breakthrough moment came in 2005 with the release of "It's Over Now", a collaboration with Big Ang and a powerful cover of the Deborah Cox classic. Released on 29 August 2005, the track quickly gained momentum in clubs and on radio, reaching No. 29 in the UK National Chart. It also dominated specialist music channels and radio playlists, holding the No. 1 position on the Galaxy FM Chart for weeks, reaching No. 3 on The Box, and becoming a firm favourite on dancefloors across the UK. The track's popularity led to its inclusion on numerous dance compilations and cemented Siobhan's reputation as a vocalist capable of delivering powerful club records with mainstream appeal.

Following the success of "It's Over Now," Siobhan continued to collaborate with producers in the dance music scene, bringing her distinctive vocal style to a range of projects. One of the most notable was "Wifey", a collaboration with Big Ang released in 2009. The track quickly became a club classic and remains a staple on dancefloors more than a decade later. Its lasting impact was demonstrated again in 2021 when the track was revived and reworked by Tom Zanetti featuring Siobhan, introducing the anthem to a new generation of club and dance music fans.

Throughout her career, Siobhan has built an impressive catalogue of work with producers and artists across the UK and internationally. Known for her emotive delivery, strong melodic instinct and unmistakable vocal tone, she has consistently brought authenticity and energy to every project she is involved in.
