Don't be a Dick

‘Don’t be a dick this summer’ is the sexual assault campaign that launched in 2017 to help tackle harassment and discrimination at Festivals and encourage festival-goers to look out for each other and stamp out unacceptable behaviour amongst peers.

Remember, it is NOT ok to make anyone feel uncomfortable, and we must all take responsibility for our actions. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Tramlines will not tolerate any harassment or inappropriate behaviour, this includes but is not limited to:

  • Anger or aggression verbal or non-verbal
  • Unwanted attention
  • Sexual jokes that make someone feel uncomfortable, offended or intimidated.
  • Invasion of personal space
  • Unwanted sexual advances – leering, touching or sexual propositions.
  • Threats
  • Bullying
  • Physical violence or damage to personal property
  • Sexually suggestive comments- i.e comments on someone’s body or appearance, name-calling and catcalling.

No matter what the situation, sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour is never ok. If you witness or feel you may have been put in an uncomfortable situation, that doesn’t feel right, you can always speak to a member of staff and your situation or report will always be treated sensitively and our team will take your lead with how you want to proceed.

If you find yourself or one of your friends in an uncomfortable or unsafe situation go to any member of the security, medical and welfare team or bar staff for assistance.
