Tramlines 2022 is SOLD OUT   /

What is the Event Research Programme?

Tramlines is one of the events selected to be part of the Events Research Programme and ticket holders will be asked to provide their consent to be part of this programme by completing a specific consent form that will be sent via email in the coming days.

This is something we would appreciate you supporting as the information gathered will help future events in the UK take place safely.

To understand how your data will be used please see the DCMS privacy notice.

Please see the Information Sheet for more information on these studies.

Why is Tramlines still a pilot event if restrictions are lifted on the 19th July?

Our involvement in the Event Research Programme enables researchers to gather important evidence from events across various settings that will help inform how crowds can return to live events as safely as possible from step 4 of the roadmap.

This research is vital for events of all shapes and sizes who have faced significant challenges associated with the pandemic, in truth if we were not invited to form part of this research we would have faced the difficult decision to cancel the event for a second year running. Although restrictions will be lifted on Monday 19th July our involvement means the events industry will have further research and guidance available to ensure everyone can get back to doing the things they love.
