Tramlines 2022 ON SALE NOW  /

Proof of Covid Status

As you know, there are a couple of extra things we need you to do this year, in particular being ready to show proof of your COVID Status when you arrive. We will be primarily using the NHS app for this, details of how to do this are set out below. This is NOT the NHS Covid-19 Track and Trace app you use to check in to venues.

Although the process is quite simple, it’s new to all of us, so we’ve broken it down as clearly as we can below. We know it looks like a lot of information but please find the section that best suits your circumstances and follow the instructions carefully. If you have a question we haven’t covered, please go to our FAQs here or email us at [email protected]

As well as your Tramlines 2021 Ticket, you will be required to show proof of your COVID-19 status upon entry. Everyone 11 years of age or over will be required to show EITHER:

  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination both doses received at least 14 days before your arrival; [OR]
  • Proof of a negative NHS COVID-19 Lateral Flow Device (LFD) taken within 48 hours of your arrival; [OR]
  • Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test taken within 180 days of the performance (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).

PLEASE NOTE:

If you are attending on multiple days, remember you WILL need to take a second test if your first has expired. NHS COVID Passes generated from a negative Lateral Flow Test expire after 48 hours.  For example, if you take your test on Thursday evening you will need to retest on Saturday evening ready for your arrival on Sunday. Please remember that your test result can take up to 2 hours to appear in the Covid Status App so it is worth logging your test the night before you are due to arrive.

We recommend that you order your free Lateral Flow Test to be delivered to your home or pick one up from a nearby location as soon as possible. We expect there to be high demand for tests in the coming weeks so plan ahead and be prepared!

We will NOT accept a text message of your Negative Test Result unless you are a child aged 11-15 or 16-18 without access to the NHS app. If you are a resident outside of England and have not been double vaccinated you can also show proof of COVID status through a text message of your Negative Test Result.

We will NOT accept vaccine cards issued at vaccination centres as proof of vaccination.

We are using proof of your COVID status to minimise the risk of the virus being able to spread at Tramlines. To do this, it is important that we all abide by the process in place. Anyone presenting a test result that is falsified or not their own can be refused admission to the event.

How to show your Covid Status

If you are an adult registered with a GP in England, you will need to show an NHS COVID Pass using one of the following. We will be primarily using the NHS app for this NOT the NHS Covid-19 Track & Trace app, details of how to do this are in the drop downs below

Lateral Flow Test

This is the appropriate section for those who have not had 2 doses of vaccine at least 14 days before your
arrival (8th July)

We recommend that you order your free lateral flow test to be delivered to your home or pick one up from a nearby location as soon as possible. We expect there to be high demand for tests in the coming weeks so plan ahead and be prepared! Take your test no more than 48 hours before you intend to arrive at Tramlines, you will then need to report your result here: https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU TEST POSITIVE?

Self Isolate and follow Government Guidance

If you test positive for COVID-19 using an NHS Lateral Flow or PCR test you will need to self-isolate immediately and follow NHS guidance

This means you will not be able to attend Tramlines so please act responsibly, stay at home to protect your fellow festival goers and the wider community.

Please follow the steps below on what to do next:

1. Check your insurance

If you are not able to attend the event, consider contacting your insurance providers (such as home or travel insurance). Many policies provide cover if you are unable to go-ahead with plans due to a medical emergency.

If you purchased Ticket Plan insurance, which was offered when you bought your tickets for Tramlines we would encourage you to get in touch with them. In most cases this will cover you for covid related issues, such as being required to self-isolate. Click here to contact Ticket Plan to claim your refund as per the terms of the scheme. If you have claimed on an insurance policy there is nothing further you need to do in terms of notifying the event.

2. Ticket Rollover Process

If you have NOT purchased Ticket Protection insurance as part of your order, you can fill out this form to register that you were unable to attend the festival due to testing positive for COVID-19 and enter a Ticket Rollover Process.

This form should be completed by the person in your booking party who has tested positive.

Please note: In order to fill out this form it is imperative that the lead booker has filled in test and trace data requested by Gigantic on Friday 16th July and downloaded all ticket(s)

You can find your Order Reference and Barcode Number on your ticket; these should be entered exactly as they are on the ticket.

By filling out this form your entry ticket will automatically become invalid. Any customer who attempts to scan their ticket will immediately be rejected from the process.

The form will be live from 8pm Friday 16th July until 12:00 Sunday 25th July when it will close and no further applications will be accepted.

GO TO FORM

All form entries will need to be submitted by 11.59am on the day you are due to attend the event.  If you have purchased ticket insurance we strongly encourage you to contact Ticket Plan to claim your refund as per the terms of the scheme instead of filling out this form.Any proportional compensation is subject to reasonable evidence of an NHS administered PCR COVID-19 test. You should order your PCR test immediately from here

We will need to process all requests before we contact you regarding the next stage of this process. Please allow up to 2 weeks until you hear from us.

Please do not contact Gigantic Customer Services or email Tramlines email accounts as this will only slow the process down. All information required by our roll over team will be submitted on the form. If we have any questions/issues we will be in touch with you.

What to do if you are notified to self isolate by NHS Test and Trace?

If you are told to self isolate by NHS Test and Trace over the period you were due to attend Tramlines, you will need to do so immediately and follow NHS Guidance here
