7 Insider Tips To Get The Most Out Of Tramlines
1. Watch Out For Up-And-Coming Talent
We know there’s loads of talent on the Tramlines line-up below the headliners. Our bookers tell us to watch out for The Magic Gang, The Orielles, Stereo Honey and Pale Waves in particular.
2. Get There Early
Entrance to the arena closes at 8pm every day and you need to be in the queue by 7.30pm to guarantee entry. We have a full programme of music and other entertainment starting at 3.30pm on Friday and 12.45pm on Saturday and Sunday.
3. Try A Local Ale
One of Sheffield’s oldest family run-breweries, Abbeydale, will have at least one ale on offer at the festival. See you t’bar!
4. Check Out The Comedy
For the first time ever Tramlines features a comedy line-up with 12 comedians performing sets across Saturday and Sunday. Check out Henning Wehn (who’ll have to alter his favourite World Cup opening sketch in light of Germany’s recent performance) and local legend John Shuttleworth.
5. Enjoy The Food
We have a mouthwatering food line-up, with more food traders and a bigger range than ever before.
6. Be There For Milburn
This is likely to be Milburn’s “last show for a long time”, possibly ever, so make sure you’re there at what should be a very special hometown set.
