o2 Academy becomes daytime destination with Mystery Jets, Quantic and more joining a host of local and emerging talent

We have taken the decision to be relocate the acts that were due to play on Devonshire Green to the o2 Academy.

While moving stages is never an easy decision, it has become increasingly difficult to run a stage of this size in a City Centre which is busier than ever.

In order to ensure the best possible weekend for music-lovers, we are also keen to make sure that we can provide enough wet weather cover across the city.

The o2 Academy is a great venue with an ideal location, and we're looking forward to building on the success of the clubnight shows, with this year's daytime gigs offering a impressive blend of established names, Sheffield favourites and breaking talent.

As the venue capacity will be slightly smaller, we would advise people to arrive early enough to catch all their favourite acts.

All Day Time Tickets will still be valid for entry to the venue until 10.00pm, meaning ticket holders may still attend the relocated events. Children aged 8+ will be permitted to attend shows at the o2 Academy, while children aged 14+ may attend unaccompanied.

The full o2 Academy lineup will be:

Friday: Everly Pregnant Brothers, Velocity Brown & The Hotrods, The Stars Band

Saturday: Mystery Jets, The Crookes, Kate Jackson & The Wrong Moves, Holy Esque, Sheffield's Revolver Project, The Black Lagoons

Sunday: Quantic (live), Kuenta i Tambu, exmagician, Eliza and the Bear, Aztec Doll

Please note access for Day Time Tickets, which are valid for entry to outdoor stages, daytime venues, o2 Academy (until 10.00pm) and Leadmill
