'Come out and show your talent' - Ms Banks flying the flag for female MCs

Ms Banks is a hot new talent, breaking out of Londons grime scene to reach audiences around the world. She is joining a host of artists backed by the PRS Momentum Fund. She spoke to us about what makes her the artist she is now, her dream support act & the importance of supporting female rappers.

So you’ve had two new releases this year already, can we expect anymore new material on the way?

Yesss expect a lot more from more, some singles some freestyles some features, all the above.

Who are you most excited to see from our line up?

Kano, I love him, especially his energy on stage.

What would you say makes you the artist that you are today?

Everything I've been through in my life and music career and all the mistakes I've made, they've made me better.

You’ve been one to watch recently with an appearance on Radar Radio London, how do you think the rest of your 2017 will pan out?

Really good, I think it's time to show my supporters what I'm really made of, I'm a music lover with all types of styles so when people realise how versatile I am and hear my new music, things are only going to get better.

Who would be your dream support act & why?

Nicki Minaj, I just love her she's been killing it for so long.

Do you think there’s a shortage of female rappers in the UK?

No, I just feel there's a shortage of women showcasing their talent, come out, we're ready to support you.
