The Stars Band

An ever-evolving line-up of The Stars band have been playing the Tramlines festival ever since its inception.   The band formed in 2010 and launched their debut album ‘We think differently’ in 2013 at the iconic Leadmill.   The album was featured in the Guardian newspaper and on BBC Radio 6.  The band describe themselves like this:-

If you’ve never seen us before we are slow, medium, fast, mellow, punk and rock. 

We are a dynamic tight knit group of multi-instrumentalists. 

Our shows are energetic and powerful. 

Our songs are catchy, meaningful and reflect on our personal life experiences.

The Stars Band are one of the bands that gather weekly at the groundbreaking Sheffield performing arts charity ‘Under the Stars’.  The mission of Under the Stars is to challenge perceptions of what people with a learning disability and / or autism can do using the power of music and theatre.
